A ‘cookie’ is a small file, typically consisting of letters and numbers, sent by the internet server to the cookie file of the browser located on your computer’s hard drive.

Below are instructions tailored to different web browsers : 

For Safari 8+ : 

• Open the Safari menu and click on “Clear History.” 
• Select the entire history, then click “Clear History.” 
• Restart your browser. 

 For Safari 7 : 

• Open the Safari menu and click on “Reset Safari.” 
• Make sure to check the box “Remove all website data,” then click “Reset.” 
• Restart your browser. 

 For Internet Explorer : 

• Click on the gear icon in the top right of the browser window, hover over “Safety,” and select “Delete browsing history.” 
• Uncheck “Preserve Favorites website data” at the top of the menu.
• Ensure that “Temporary Internet files” and “Cookies” are checked, then click “Delete.”
• Click “OK” to close the menu, then close and relaunch your browser. 

 For Edge : 

• Click on “…” in the top right of your browser. 
• In Settings, scroll down to “Clear browsing data” and click on “Choose what to clear.” 
• Uncheck “Form data” and “Passwords,” then make sure “Cached data and files” and “Cookies and saved website data” are checked. 
• Click “Clear.” 
• Click on “…” again to close the menu, then close and relaunch your browser. 

 For Google Chrome : 

• Click on the menu in the top right. 
• Hover over “More tools” and then click on “Clear browsing data.” 
• For “Time range,” select “All time.” 
• Make sure “Cached images and files” and “Cookies and other site data” are checked, then click “Clear data.” 
• Restart your browser. 

 For Firefox : 

• Select the menu in the top right (?) and click on “History,” then “Clear Recent History.” 
• Check the box next to “Cookies” and set the time range to “Everything.”
• Make sure “Cache” is checked under “Details,” then click “Clear Now.” 
• Restart your browser.
